Armstrong Planning & Project Management has extensive experience working closely with developers and landowners to provide personalized project management and overall coordination in support of land development. Project management is the foundation on which we’ve built our practice and is what sets us apart from other planning consultancies. 

We take full ownership of project coordination, including (but not limited to):

  • Budgeting soft costs;

  • Input into budgeting hard costs;

  • Scheduling;

  • Consultant selection;

  • Managing the consultant team;

  • Coordination and review of reports;

  • Application submissions through to approvals;

  • Leading public consultation/engagement meetings;

  • Representation in front of Council and Committees;

  • Review and finalization of agreements; and

  • Permit applications to permit issuance.

Soft Costs Budgeting and Project Scheduling

We are equipped to provide landowners with input into budgeting of project soft costs including anticipated fees for Planning Applications, Development Charges, Community Benefits Charge, Parkland Dedication, and Permits. We also prepare project schedules outlining key milestones such as anticipated dates for Planning Approvals, payment of Development Charges and Parkland Cash-in-Lieu, and Permit issuance.
