Riverland is a multi-phased residential community located in the Township of Woolwich, Region of Waterloo. The approved and pending subdivision applications will ultimately support the creation of over 700 residential units including one elementary school block, parks and storm water management ponds. Approval of this subdivision also included a significant conveyance of core environmental feature to the Township to protect environmental lands adjacent to the Grand River. Both subdivisions required an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision as well as associated registrations and part lot control applications for townhouse lot creation.
