Dain City is a master planned multi-phased mixed use community located in the south end of Welland, sitting between the Welland Shipping Canal and Welland Recreational Canal. Over 2,000 units have been approved in two subdivisions that also include two elementary school blocks, a significant mixed-use block and large open space protecting and enhancing existing natural heritage areas on site. We also provide support to several other initiatives in the community including a new bridge, road urbanizations and a new off-site recreational facility. The two Dain City subdivisions required an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision approvals.
